With a base of over 86% birch juice, squalane, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate, Birch Milk Refining Toner preps and hydrates skin while gently refining texture.

An optimal 1% blend of AHAs, including glycolic and lactic acids, and PHA gluconolactone gently removes dead skin cells to smooth the appearance of fine lines, brighten skin, and refine pores. Birch juice and marshmallow root provide soothing hydration to balance the exfoliating formula, making it gentle enough for daily use once skin is acclimated.

Follow with The Giving Essence or your treatment of choice to replenish freshly exfoliated skin with hydration.

How to Use

Gentle for daily use. After cleansing, dispense Birch Milk Refining Toner into your hands and pat or press onto face and neck. You can also use a cotton pad to gently swipe the toner onto the face and neck. Follow up with The Giving Essence (or essence and serum of choice) to hydrate and strengthen exfoliated skin. With any expected sun exposure, always protect skin with sunscreen.

- For beginners who don't regularly exfoliate, slowly incorporate the Birch Milk Refining Toner into your routine about 2-3x a week until your skin is acclimated.
- For those accustomed to regular exfoliation with acids, alternate use with your other acid products (i.e. day vs. night or every other day) to prevent over-exfoliation and sensitization.

The toner is a 1% acid toner that is cushioned with birch milk. It can be used morning and night to minimize pores, prevent breakouts and smooth out fine lines. 

Can I use this every day?

Yes! If you're new to exfoliating acids or have sensitive skin, begin a few times per week and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts.

Can I use this with other exfoliating products?

It depends on your skin type, tolerance for acids and what other products you are incorporating into your routine. The rule of thumb is to alternate use of acid products, and work your way up gradually as your skin adjusts.

    This toner is so refreshing and hydrating. It’s very light weight but it feels so hydrating and leaves your skin feeling so soft! It’s not caused me any breakouts and works great with other products! Definitely worth the buy!!!
