This section only applies to the residents of the states and countries that give additional privacy rights. As of the date this was posted, that includes U.S. states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Oregon, Utah, and Virginia, along with the European Union, the additional countries that form the European Economic Area (namely, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland), and the United Kingdom. 

As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect personal information from your interactions with us and our website, including through cookies and similar technologies. We may also share this personal information with third parties, including advertising partners. We do this in order to show you ads on other websites that are more relevant to your interests and for other reasons outlined in our privacy policy.

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Information Collected:

Transactional Information: When you make a purchase or return, we collect information about the transaction, such as product detail, purchase price, and date of the transaction.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc, a third-party services provider. After you place an order on our website you will need to make payment for the goods or services you have ordered. We share your personal information with third parties which process payment card transactions on our behalf. Our third-party payment processors collect, use, and process your information, including payment information, in accordance with their privacy policies. You can access their privacy policies via their own website

Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We may use tracking tools like browser cookies, flash cookies, pixels, and web beacons as long as you have consented to Cookies upon landing on our website. 

Commercial Information: We collect information about your product and service preferences and interests.

Login credentials: We collect your username and password if you choose to create an account with us.

Directly from you, from service providers / contractors, including cloud hosting and website providers, payment processors, customer relationship and service providers, email and SMS/MMS marketing service providers, advertising networks, and analytics companies, through our affiliate program, and from publicly available sources, such as social media sites

NEVADA

2019 Nev. L. 211 permits customers of Soko Glam who are Nevada residents to request that we not sell their personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law. If you are a resident of Nevada and would like to request that we not sell your information in the future, please write us at Soko Glam Inc, or at hello@sokoglam.com. 

US CUSTOMERS - HOW TO OPT OUT OF PERSONAL DATA SHARING

Residents of impacted states can submit a request to exercise their privacy rights by emailing us at hello@sokoglam.com with the subject line: Privacy Rights Request. You may only submit one type of request per email. If you wish to submit multiple requests, you must do so separately. 

To verify your identity, we may need your full name, email, mailing address, and a description of your request. We will make all reasonable attempts to verify your identity using information we have, but if we can not we may request the above additional details or deny your request as required by law. You have the right to an appeal, and can submit one 

Please allow up to 30 days to process these requests. By default, if a request for erasure is submitted and the customer has made an order in the last 180 days, then the request for erasure will remain in a pending state for 180 days since the customer's last order, in case a chargeback occurs. 

PRIVACY AND DATA RIGHTS AND CHOICES FOR EU, EEA, AND UK CONSUMERS
If you are a resident of the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, your local laws provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your Personal Information.
